Acne is something of immense concern in our everyday life, and it needs to be treated, so that we can live life without the fear of it. This can be found mostly on the face of young ones and adults too. Acne can be cured by so many things and products; but the most effective of all is using tea tree oil for acne.
Tea tree oil fights against the bacteria that cause acne while it cleanses your skin. It is available in various forms like creams, oil, and washes. The best way to treat acne is to mix a few drops of tea tree oil in warm water and wash your face. This takes away the unwanted dead cells and cleanses your skin. After washing, you can apply tea tree cream to the affected areas, using a gentle touch. For greater effects, it is better to not wash too frequently, as excessive washing takes away the moisture content from your skin.
Australian aboriginees crushed the leaves and used them on burns, cuts, and skin infections. Today this oil is known for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It’s used for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne, and is also recommended for fungal infections like thrush, yeast infection, and athlete’s foot.
It might, or might not, depending. Before we get into that, though, let’s look at what tea tree oil is. It’s derived from a plant that’s native to Australia, called Melaleuca alternifolia. Originally, the leaves of the plant were used for tea, which is how it got its name. But the leaves themselves also contain oil and the extraction of that oil is what results in tea tree oil.
Some of the tea tree oil acne products that are on the market today are premixed with the right amount of oil extract as it relates to the other ingredients that they put in. There are many people who tried to create their own mix and might consider adding jojoba oil in with the tea-tree-oil.eu/nl/. The right amount of this is probably something in the neighborhood of 5%.
If you ever had a fungal infection such as ringworm or athletes foot you will know how difficult it can be to get rid of it. Ringworm isn’t a worm but a fungus. It got its name as it can grow in circles resembling worms. In fact the Latin name i.e. the medical name for this condition is Tinea which means growing worm. It can occur anywhere on the skin but is most prevalent on the scalp or feet. As tea tree oil has anti fungal properties, it has proven very effective in getting rid of this condition. Do not apply neat but use it with carrier base oil such as grape seed oil or sunflower oil. In a diluted form, you can have a nice tea tree oil acne treatment.
If you are using tea tree oil for the first time there are some things you should know. Do not get it in your eyes. It is extremely unpleasant and you will definitely take care not to let it happen again if you do. Simply apply it to the face and lather for about one minute and then rinse off. It is a very watery product so make a cup with your hands when you dispense it. The actual product I use is Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean face wash w/Tea Tree oil. This stuff is an all natural product and is very gentle on the skin. This stuff cost me about $20 at the local organic grocery and has definitely been a worthwhile investment for me.
The benefit of a this acne regimen is that if you can tolerate it is one that you can use on a daily basis. Again if you buy it from the store premade you will likely have better results than trying to make yourself. Some reaction to a high dose of tea tree oil could be stinging and burning sensations. So, make sure you know before you buy what to look for as far as reactions and tried out on a small part of your skin before using it all over.
